An Everglo is a bedside reading light designed for everyday use and for Shabbos. Its specially designed cover can be closed to contain the light without using the electrical switch.
Switch the light on before Shabbos and leave it operating. When you want the room to be dark, close the cover. Open it again whenever you need the light.
Some people refer to this type of product as a Shabbos light, Shabbat lamp or Sabbath light.
Yes. Everglo Shabbos lights are certified by the Kosher Federation. They are also manufactured to meet applicable CE and RoHS requirements.
Yes. Everglo is designed to be a practical bedside reading light throughout the week. During the week, it can be controlled using its regular electrical switch.
The cover is designed to contain the light when fully closed, keeping the room comfortably dark without switching the fitting off.
A recessed model sits partly inside the wall, giving it a clean, flush appearance. It requires a prepared wall opening and enough space behind the wall.
A surface-mounted model fits directly onto the wall and needs much less recess depth, making it suitable for a wider range of installations.
The Recessed Classic includes a USB Type-C charging port for convenient everyday use. USB charging is not included with every Everglo model, so check the product specification before ordering.
Finishes vary between models and may include brushed brass, antique brass, bronze, brushed nickel, black and white. The available finishes are shown on each product page.
Choose a recessed model if you want a neat, flush finish and have enough space inside the wall. Choose a surface-mounted model if recess depth is limited or you want a simpler installation.

Most models are made for standard UK and European voltage. Selected Everglo models are also available in 110–240V versions for other countries.
Check the individual product specification or contact us before ordering for installation outside the UK or Europe.
Every Everglo light should be installed by a qualified electrician, following the supplied installation guide and the electrical regulations applicable to the property.
Ask your electrician to check the required wall cut-out, recess depth and location of the electrical supply. These details are especially important when installing into an existing wall.

Everglo models use an integrated LED light source to provide focused, warm bedside illumination. Please check the individual product specification for the wattage, colour temperature and light output of each model.
The warranty varies by model, with selected products covered for up to five years. You will find the exact warranty period on the relevant product page and your order documentation.
Delivery times depend on the model, finish, stock availability and destination. The estimated delivery time will be shown during checkout or confirmed after your order is placed.
When your order is dispatched, we will send you the available tracking information.
International delivery is available to selected destinations. Contact us before ordering so that we can confirm delivery costs, product availability and the correct voltage for your country.
Unused products can be returned in accordance with our Delivery & Returns Policy. The product must be in its original condition and packaging, and return exclusions may apply.

Contact us within three days of receiving your order. Please include your order number and clear photographs of the product, the damage and the external packaging so that we can deal with the matter promptly.
